SAN DIEGO -- Human remains were found underwater in the ocean near the mouth of Mission Bay Channel Wednesday, authorities reported.
Lifeguard personnel reported the discovery shortly after 11:30 a.m., according to San Diego police.In the early evening, an SDPD diving crew had finally recovered the body, Sgt. David Jennings said.
